Hey everyone!

For June we are going to a Pick-Your-Own Strawberry Farm in Portland and then for a short drive then stopping to have MINI burgers and strawberry shakes using our fresh strawberries at the Timberloft Restaurant who will be giving us a special price.

We will be going June 6th or 7th when the exact date and time are known I'll let you know and if you have a preference post it!!!

 

Well, Leah... Seems that I am just not having any luck with drives, LOL. I'll be out of town that weekend- But have a great time!

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the late posting, I've been out of town!

I called the strawberry farm so they know we are coming!
Date: June 6th (saturday)
Place: Galatin/109 Exit off I-40
Time: 12:30pm!

We will be going to Bradley Farms in Cottontown. (Near Portland, the strawberry capital of Tennessee)

After picking we will take backroads to Gordonsville, Tn. There will be a special menu for us at the Timberloft Restaurant of MINI burgers, french fries and strawberry milkshakes with the fresh strawberries I'm picking!

The Timberloft (fellow MINI owners) are giving us a special price of $4.99 for burgers and shakes!

(There will be a full menu as well for those not wanting to eat burgers)

After this everyone is on their own. The Timberloft is right next to I-40 and only a 40 minute drive back to nashville. or their are plenty of curvy roads around the lake.


We will meet at the Galatin/109 exit off I-40 at the Bellacinos at 12:30 and will be leaving at 1:00pm. It will be about an hour drive to each location.

Looks like y'all had a great time- wish I could have been there. Strawberries looked delish!

Leah, there *is* a club - Middle TN Mini Club or some such thing. Supposedly there are meetings, but I haven't been able to access the club site to figure out what they are and how I can participate. Maybe you'd have better luck- I think my computer and the club site are incompatible.. boo!
I hope this fall there will be more runs and other get togethers...
