MINICross 1st Timer

It was lots of fun. During the intro speech they said they had 2011's for us to drive, which got me very excited, but they were 2010's, just fresh off the boat. All autos locked in second gear. They had 2 or 3 convertible S's, and one Clubman S. Each driver got two laps, and it was a blast. Many cones were eaten by other drivers--some quite spectacularly!
The also had the Countryman there on display. We sat in it and it made a good impression. I'm still holding out for the right MCS, but the wife is very interested.
All in all a fun couple of hours--I'd highly recommend it!

DC MINIcross had about 10 cars total. (based from memory...)
1 JCW Clubman Manual
2 Convert. S Man.
2 Hardtop S Man.
3 Hardtop Auto
1 Convert. Auto
(No S with Auto!...Thought that was strange)
I was able to take 2 seperate runs before the crowds started forming around 10am. The first with the Convert. S Man. and second with the JCW Clubman Man. That JCW was a really nice ride. I reccommend it if you havn't had the pleasure yet. Enjoy!
