Thanks, MTH...
Thanks, MTH...
...uploaded the tuner file tonight, gave it a 20 mile trip. I know it's going to adapt over the next several hundred miles, but in the early going, it's a marked improvement. Idles smoother, no "stumble" off the line, feels much 'punchier' in the sub-3k RPM range.
In any case, many thanks to Patrick who turned my file around very quickly, and to MTH for a great product.

These guys are good...... (not PGA, I mean MTH)
Excellent work, gents.
Got my tuner file on my MCS uploaded a month ago and I'm very happy with it. I reckon I've done a 1000 mls or so; the ECU should have adapted fully to Volker's development aid.
Fuelsaving cruising with RPM's in the 2000-3000 range is definitely improved and beware of blast when you put the pedal to the metal..... sure revs up better than before. Never did any dyno test and probably never will. The difference felt driving the Cooper S is a lot better than a piece of paper.
Fuel consumption did not change at all. Although being tempted to feel that extra power I usually average more than 30mpg.
MTH Tuner-file is well worth the money....go for it! Thanks Volker!
