noisier? mpg decrease? durability decrease?


besides the cash upfront, seems like a no brainer upgrade?....

My experience with MTH has been an increase in mpg. I am getting almost 2mpg better.

MTH is especially effective on CR/B Coopers

 

Actually, the tuner file will increase your mpg ... except that your car will be so much more fun and responsive that you'll be driving the car harder so your actual mpg may decrease!

I was truly surprised as to how big a difference the tuner file made to my MCS. Go for it.

 

No brainer indeed. I'd recommend this mod for any & all Coopers

The ONLY negative thing I can come up with about it is the non-linear acceleration (really takes off @ 4000RPM), and by NO means does it bother me :smile: Just stretching for a down side... which I don't consider it to be.

The stronger pull @ lower RPMs & the DSC improvement alone are more than worth the price!

I'm running the Tuner File on an 03 Cooper (non-S).
