I'm leaving as soon as I can Friday morning and will be up there slaying dragons in the afternoon!
New rubber going on tomorrow and some fresh oil and I'll be set!

This is gonna kill off my tyres... n ot even bothering rotating them (took them to the tire place and the guy's eyes bugged out when he saw all the Dragon damage. Said I'd be best to leave the fronts on, for ride purposes).
Oil was changed 5000 miles ago so I should be fine on that.
Seeya friday, mate! I'll be in the Fontana Lodge or one of its little satellite rooms.

Made it home safe. . . . had a fun run out with Sarcux this morning.
Talked to koolmini on the road and he made it home with only a minor inconvenience in Virginia. .
Nothing to do now but wait until Fall!

Video turned out great, Andrew.
Ut oh, Kool, whatdja do?
Yucca, what time did we leave? I made insanely good time - was home by like 7:30. I won't say how I made such good time though, mweheheheh.
Am impressed to say that even with the 15% pulley, CAI, magnaflow, M7 flywheel, spec 1 clutch, denso plugs and UNIchip, and with the AC blasting at high power at long stints of high speed (how high? Hmmm....
), I still managed to pull off 29.91 mpg!

Glad the others also made it home safely! sndwave and I returned to the HORRIBLY HOT Florida (frying) Panhandle at 6 pm. Great seeing my MINI pals, especially kool and sndwave, get to celebrate their birthdays Dragon-style! Fall of the Dragon is next......

I made it home rather quickly too. I think they shortened the interstate over the weekends.
As I approached Birmingham, illuminated signs warned that air quality was bad and I should reduce driving, so I reduced the time I spent on the road even more!

Must say I had one of the best times ever at the Dragon. . . just a group of good friends doing what we wanted when we wanted and where we wanted.
Reminds me of my first trip up there a couple years ago. . . .

Jeremy, send me those tapes. . . I don't even need the spring ones since I have a lot of good footage from previous trips. . . I just want to get your footage in there since it is some of the best I have seen!
