Why not fly into Zurich Switzerland and enjoy the ride through the Alps. I know for sure that MINIS can be rented at that airport by at least one company. But beware, they are considered midsized cars. :-)
I did that drive recently to go on vacation to the Island of Elba and it is very worthwhile as a trip.

There will be 47 people (25 minis) from the Greek Club at the Majors Hotel from greece!You can tell from the side of our cars!I got Hyper Blue S(there are few at this color in our group No 03 on the side)C U IN ITALY!!!!!!!!

Grabbed some tickets last week and plan to do some mountain bike riding at Lake Garda early next week. Then we will head down to Misano on Friday for the event. I think we are probably going to stay at the Trevi Hotel in Riccione.

It's fantastic to see that Mini International is considering helping us the north american contingent get over there either by way of rental or otherwise... very cool thought of them I have to admit...

Just got back from Mini United in Zandvoort... Wow! 10,000+ Minis of all shapes and colors. Talked to the chaps from the British arm of MC2 for while...nice blokes! Great cars, great time...Can't wait to go back!
Saw 21 GPs lined up at one time (and more there over the wekend too)...nice complement to teh Challenge race/race cars.
