I talked to Chuck today as well. He refused to admit it but folks in Denver consider him to be one of the top window tinters in the country so we are luck to get him.
I'm waiting for some pricing from him for tin-tops, clubbies & verts so stay tuned or email him.

I just noticed that you have me down as an S. Not an S and only want bra, not bumper. Thanks!

Wishful thinking perhaps. I'll fix it.
Have you contacted ACE yet to set up a time?

No, I haven't contacted ACE yet. It's on my to do list, which seems to be getting longer and longer every time I turn around. (Finish one thing, and 5 more to the list.)

Talked to Chuck today. Apparently the report of his acceptance was a little premature. He's good for the entire event as of today

I asked him how long he has been in the business, 14 years Think we're in good hands

Have him scheduled for mine 9:00A Friday

So as promised (sorry I was out of town on business) here are the prices for window tinting:

Mini convertible $170.00
Regular body style mini $180.00
Clubman mini $190.00

Any early body style will have to estimate on site!
Chuck will be there on the 6th though the 9th and he is taking appointments now.
If someone wants to make an appointment they can call Chuck Robbins at 303-916-1378.

I just made three round trips to Denver in the MINI, in the last four weeks.
I'd thought about trying to squeeze in an appointment with Chuck, but I figured it probably wouldn't work out.

I just looked up Ace's address on Arapahoe, and it turns out that on each trip, I was staying in a hotel about five minutes away from them!

Oh well; I'm happy to give Chuck another reason to head for the mountains.

Both the tinter and the clear bra installer will be available for walk-ups.
Check out their work on other MINIs and get in line.
Me, I've got stripes and my MINI emblem on the bonnet to pull off next week. Then there are all those chips to fill and some time with the polisher before I'm ready.

Chuck are you pulling your stuff off up there at MITM or at home then driving up and fixing chips up there or at home? Will the Langka being doing demos of their paint repair also? To pull off the old clear bra Ben suggested using steam, anyone have that and are they possibly taking that up to MITM?

I'm doing everything at home and putting the Colgan bra on for the trip up. I may take my polisher up with me. I think you should just try a hairdryer. As loose as that film is it shouldn't be too hard to pull off. If you want to polish it before driving up just come by either Monday or Tuesday of next week and we can at least get the bonnet done.
I don't know if there will be an actual Langka person there or if they are just sending product. Octane Guy will be there though so maybe you could rent some of his time.
