I presume this is originally a Japanese car? When was it brought into the US?

 

That is correct, Noozio. It was imported to the US in spring of 2015 by the previous owner who was military and stationed in Okinawa. He had the body restoration and the adjustable suspension done. It was his daily driver over there for I think three years. He bought it from another military serviceman. From that point, on, I don't know it's history. My contribution was the new engine, shocks, brakes, master cylinder.
