For sale is my '03 R53 that needs some love that I cannot give.
She has been neglected for some time, and sat a little long without being started, when I tried to get her to run again she turned over a few times then stalled, upon trying the most recent time, the starter motor will not start. Might be as simple as a fuse or relay (no sounds or anything when turning key right now) but I do not have the time to troubleshoot and need to sell ASAP.
TLDR: she will need to be carried to her new home.
Prior to sitting, she ran well, supercharger was fine as far as I can tell.
The bads:
windshield
rust near DS tail light
a/c
rear hatch hinge broken (comes with new hinge, no time to install)
a little dirty
a few door dings
steering u-joint is sticky
can overheat at times (leak in reservoir)
the tail lights could be replaced
The goods:
new battery
clutch replaced at 100k with solid flywheel conversion
urethane bushings
borla race exhaust and meghan header
reduction pulley on supercharger
stock wheels with good tread hankook ventus v12 summer tires
extra set of wheels with snow tires also with good tread (extra set was a good set of custom powdercoated white rims, however one was dented, is still included, but there is one mismatched rim)
comes with a bentley manual
The others:
The exhaust system is catless (I do not have the core)

With the new battery, I was able to get it to turn over a few times but each time it stalled shortly after, then while trying to get it to pull some fresh fuel (I assumed that was the issue) the starter just stopped working without any notice. Now nothing at all happens when you turn the key, you still hear the fuel pump fire up, but no starter and no other sounds (it's why I think it could be as simple as a relay, but I have literally no time to troubleshoot).
It almost sounds like misfire (bad plugs, wires, coil...) or MAF sensor. When it did start did it idle rough with a check engine light? Or did it rev up and down?
I was wondering if this R53 was still for sale. Very interested! Willing to drive down and pick it up (if the rears hold air) with cash in hand by the end of the month.
