First time posting here on the forum (although I've been lurking for years). I am very sad to see this car go and am hoping it can find a new home with a fellow enthusiast. Car is located in Seattle, WA. Serious buyers only please. Tire kickers, lets just save each other the time.
The car's original owner is my best friend, who bought it at Yaletown Mini in Vancouver BC. He owned the car until I finally convinced him to sell it to me in January of 2016. In the ten years of his ownership, he kept the car in a climate controlled garage and drove it very sparingly. He also maintained the car exclusively at the dealership and had it professionally detailed on a regular basis. All scheduled maintenance has been completed and the car was never late for a service appointment. In May of 2008, the car's water pump failed and was replaced under warranty (again, at the dealer). Thanks to a check engine light, the car was immediately put on a flatbed truck (and therefore did not overheat when this incident occurred). That is the only mechanical failure or issue the car has ever had - either while in my ownership or before. It has been (and continues to be) 100℅ reliable. If you have any questions about the car's history or doubt my account of its prior ownership, I would be happy to put you in touch with the original owner.
I legally imported the car to the USA in January of 2016. This required that the digital speedometer be replaced and the ECU speed reading be converted from KPH to MPH. This was completed by Mini Yaletown. While the digital speedometer now reads in MPH, the center (analog) speedo still reads in KPH. Since owning the car, I have driven it about 9,000 miles and have garaged it until moving this past November. I've had the oil changed three times, the windshield replaced, and the brake fluid + coolant flushed and replaced. Again, these items were completed by the dealer.
The car is turn-key and needs nothing. However, at some point in the future it will need an upper motor mount and lower control arm bushings. After inspection, I anticipate that mine will need them in the next year or 10,000 miles. Not a pressing or immediate need. This is reflected in my asking price.

Before this car, I had an E46 M3 and can honestly say that I've enjoyed this car more. I am sad to see the car go, however we need a bigger car for camping/hiking/skiing/dog hauling/etc.
The car is listed locally for $500 higher. Id love to see this go to an enthusiast who will take care of and appreciate it as it has been its whole life.
