It's time.

It's time to sell our 2008 MINI Cooper S Convertible. He's a Sidewalk Edition, one of the last Supercharged models (not the black exterior numbered editions).

White Silver exterior (think platinum) with Malt Brown English Leather interior (with off-white piping).

By the way, his name is Welly, short for Wellington.

He only has about 39,000 miles and he's been well taken care of. All service has been performed at Schomp MINI, MINI of Loveland, or Avalon Motorsports in Denver. He just had his oil service, and a full check up (clean bill of health). His battery was replaced a couple of years ago. He had one illness: in June 2012 we had him in for a full check up before warranty expiration. Nothing major came up, but apparently the dealer left something loose and created a leak. A week later the transmission got temperamental. We took it to a different dealer, and the transmission seized up as we arrived at the service entrance. MINI replaced the entire transmission under warranty - and we never took the car back to the original dealership for service! So, the car has 39,000 miles but the transmission has only about 19,000.

Welly has a found a new home in Pennsylvania. He's getting ready for his trip next week, getting a bath, cleaning out his boot, etc. He's excited, but still a little nervous. We're sad to see him go, but happy that his new family is so excited about his arrival.

 

PA can't wait Michael, and you might actually hear my kids squealing all the way in CO when I take them for their first ride with the top down!

 

Congratulations. What part of the state are located in PA? Good MINI clubs on both sides of the state.

 

Thanks! I am outside of York in Red Lion. Had an M3 for years, sold it a few years back after kids wanted something fun for a 3rd car. So here I am, will surely have a multitude of questions after reading up on some past threads here.
