Most, best thanks for you complement. It is appreciated. I did spend a lot of time trying to squeeze out good, descriptive images of it, not exactly a lipstick-on-a-pig situation, it started out pretty, but the fotos don't hurt.

yeah, too true.
the car belonged to a good friend who'd recently died. way too young. she was quite beautiful and generous to everyone and the car got passed along. it reminds me of her, in a good way. at the time she was ordering it, I schemed to convince her of the virtues of an 's'. I knew it was futile, but I still went through the motions, hoping she'd bite and then I'd get to drive it.
she'd look at me cross-eyed and laugh at my see-through fatuousness.
