I'm putting my Cooperchan for sale in 2 weeks. Now living in down town Montreal Canada, the car has not been used as much as before so I'll let it go so that somebody can enjoy like I do. I don't know the procedure for importing but I will assist the buyer if he/she needs anything. Posting here first and in the Canadian market in a week. First come first served.
I wanted to keep the car forever so I added mods with that regard. Never tracked or abused despite the look. Most mods are DIY mods. Very fun to drive, handles like it's on rails. Other cars are so boring to drive in comparison. Good thing I won't be driving any more.
Year: 2006 ( production May 2006)
Color: Dark Silver
Model: Factory JCW
Ownership: 2nd owner, since December 2010 (non smoker, garaged the last 3 winters)
Title: Clean with a light front accident( bumper , hood,LH headlight, no airbag)
Mileage: 67200 miles (108200km)
Name: Cooper-chan
Appearance:
I love how the 1st GP and Challenge edition MINIs looked so I went for that.
The car is clean and the front is protected by a clear bra. The rear bumper has some scratches.
-Red mirror caps
-Challenge decal (viper stripes and side decal with number 93)
-Joey mod headlight Red and Black
-Plastidipped headlight rings Black
-front JCW bumper
-M7 Wing plastidipped Black
-Enkei NT03+M (ultra light) plastidipped White
-Front bumper clear bra
Drivetrain:
I modded to improve quality and durability over OEM not for power since I was satisfied with the 208 HP.
-ATI Crank Damper ( No brainer here. Will last the lifetime of the car. Much better quality than OEM. A 450$ upgrade)
-VIP engine damper (reduce engine vibration for a better lifespan)
-Alta cleanable Air Filter with cleaning kit ( just clean it every oil change instead of buying the more restrictive and expensive JCW air filter every time.)
Suspension:
I had the OEM "S" supension which was already very go kart like but upgraded further more for the performance-fun factor.
-CROSS Coilovers with Swift Spring (One of the best coilover-spring combo
availble for performance and adjustable for everyday use)
-Alta 22mm rear sway bar (fun fun fun)
-Madness Polyurethane Front Control Arm Bushings (Superior replacement to OEM again)
-TSW adjustable Rear Control Arms
-Madness under chassis brace ( helps the car's handling)
Maintenance:
Took good care of the car. I gathered a lot of parts and tools for maintenance throughout the last 4 years which will be included in the sales at this price.
-Oil change every 3000 miles Mobil 1 0W-40
-Brakes Front Disc, pads and sensor (by dealership on 2011)
-Brakes Rear disc and pads but not the sensor (2012) (light is on)
-ATI Crank Pulley (2011)
-Alternator (2012)
-Front control arm Madness polyurethane bushing (2012) (a pain in the *** to change but don't worry about it anymore
-JCW airbox open flap
-5000k xenon bulb ( white light)
-1st radiator fan bypass ( always on 2nd stage when activated)
-Always premium gas
-Rustproofed
-Garaged the last 3 winters
-Lots of parts and tools coming with t
The blemishes:
-I had a light front end impact in the winter of 2011 when I was unable to brake on a patch ice at a stop sign. The bumper, hood and passenger headlight was changed but the rest was fine. Out of this bad situation I got to change my stock S bumper for a JCW bumper.
-Air bag light is on ( will look into it)
-squeaking noise from rear sway bar bushings (will look into it)
-I will include a front wheel bearing because the LH bearing might need to be changed soon. Fine for now.
Any question? Let me know.
