I have a 6 speed manual transmission 2002 Mini Cooper S that I'm looking to possibly sell. Just kind of seeing what is out there. I'm really looking for a cafe racer so I would be interested in partial trades for an older bike. The car has a few things updated. New clutch and flywheel put on about 20k miles ago. New power steering pump, fan, and all new hoses about 5k ago (common problem with these I had fixed under warranty). And I replaced the control arm bushings with powerflex polyurethane bushings. And a few other minor things
Mods:
It has an Alta CAI, Alta 22mm rear sway bar, 2006 Mini Cooper xenon projector headlights, Alta 2% under drive pulley, Alta cutback exhaust, brand new Continental DSW all season performance tires (less than 2k miles), the clutch is a clutch master stage 3 6 puck ceramic clutch, clutch master lightweight aluminum flywheel, JCW style front grille, Rennline RS style door pulls, and craven speed shifter well. I'm sure I'm leaving a couple of things out of this list.
The body has around 160k miles but has a newer engine out of a 2006 Mini with about 70k miles. 80% of the miles on the car are highway miles as I would drive about 100 miles daily for my job. I do DD it currently so the miles will go up. Oil has been changed every 3-4k miles with full synthetic.
Bad:
Needs a new glove box. The tab the holds it up broke and I just haven't had time to fix it. It's $100 for new one. Also the side skirt needs to be repaired or replaced. I had a jack slip when I was changing the tire one day and it cut it up.
All service was done a Knox Performance and Dyno. I can get all the maintenance that has been done since I've owned the car. If you have any questions please let me know.
Again I am asking $7000 obo I don't have to sell this car. It's a really fun car but it is beginning to be too small for me. I would be interested in trades for a Subaru or older motorcycle that I could build into a cafe racer. Also would possibly be interested in Jeeps.
