Uhh, maybe I missed it but why don't you just give her your Mini and then you drive the Neon. She gets Mini, you get to drive it when the urge arises. JUst a thought.

Mr.minianni

(it's her mini, not mine)

I'm expecting that the company that donated that shirt will be here (they did pretty well I think). I have no control over who wins what though. At least I won a book I didn't already own.

that is crazy!!! I would jump on that, but a MINI will either get me killed, do something really stupid, or both.

That and i'm trying to decrease my insurance payments.

Why not give her your mini ? It will be interesting to see what a Twin Charged car is worth on the resale market especially one as nice as this one.2003's are going for over 19 in pretty much stock condition out here.

Dom, I applaud you for the sacrifice you're making for Becky! She deserves it and anyone buying your MINI is getting a fantastic car. Don't let the naysayers get you down. What kind of MINI does she want? Cheers to you both, sweetie! And glad to see that you may get to the Dragon next year...YAY!

I'm curious what the market for Dom's car would be if he sold the twin charge kit to me and offered the car wo TC?

Life is not always about the kill...especially if you have a S.O.

Wife wants a 2007 and she's near the top of the wait list for it from our local dealership. Sure it will be a few months, but due to some financial situations, we need to get the T/C car out of our possesion at present time.

This makes me sad. Sad that I dont have 19k. And jealous of who does. I just spent 20k on the MINiTOR, far from that fast. Hopefully someone who was thinking of buying new and modding will just ****** this up and realize you cant get much better. If this was for sale last November...

I don't really understand why you would sell your twincharged MINI for a regular MINI.....seriously...I can't figure it out. If your only going to have one MINI, keep the twincharged!
Good luck man, very very nice ride.

I dont understand....Why sell a MINI to buy another MINI so that she can drive a MINI.....why not just let her drive the mini you have........unless of course.......that 300hp is not drivable

I totally get what you're doing and I wish soooooo much I could buy it. I'm in a similar situation.

My wife just bought a Mini and I'm planning on getting one too. But she asked me to wait a few months so she can play with hers for a while. So that's why I have to pass on this one. If it's still by some EXTREME chance still available in about six months I will fly up there and buy it from you.

Dude ... my hat is off to you. While some might not understand, I do since our MINI is my wife's daily driver while I get the beater. Next car is mine

I applaud you

The video was sweet, but it was totally off-subject and inappropriately named. If you want a proper video that represents what's going on here, you'll have to call it "Love Story". The MINI's just part of the set. Give the car away for nothing and negotiate for the rights to the movie about the relationship. You'll have all the teenage girls in the theater crying their eyes out.

Now, let's see. How much is left on my HELOC?

Joe

With those specs you should be able to pull low 20's but you need to put it back to stock to get that . Modified cars are great to wish for as you can see by some of the posts but actually buying one is a different matter alltogether . Good luck though as it sounds like a fun ride. You just need to find someone willing to take the chance . It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Huh? I don't understand. A car with 170hp will get better resale value than the same car UPGRADED to 300+hp with better handling and with better looks?
