I will answer the inevitable here...why I am selling?

I am selling the MINI for my aunt, who knows nothing about cars. This MINI belonged to my uncle, and it was his dream car, his pride and joy. He spent many hours motoring around the countryside in West Michigan...just to enjoy the drive. He cared for the car like it was his child. Unfortunately, my uncle lost a long battle after a liver transplant and isn't with us anymore.

I wasn't a MINI guy, but I have fallen in love with this little car. I would happily buy it myself, but I have 5 kids and a high maintenance wife. I have had this car for the last 2 months and I can tell you it is a blast to drive.

If you are in the market for a JCW Cooper, you won't be disappointed with this one. It is a real head turner...and very very quick.

Holy COW! That one's got everything an S fan would want.

FWIW, given that your current second car can't hold all those kids, why not keep the Mini and sell the other car? Good fuel mileage, easier to park, professional and active image... consider the practicality, man, the practicality!

If only I didn't already have a Mini...

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the thoughts . Actually, our primary car is a MINIvan, and our second car is a MINIvan also. I had a BMW 740iL up until the beginning of 07, but sold it while opening my own business. I would like to have a third car but can't justify it while bankrolling my company.

FWIW, since I have been driving the Cooper, I have really appreciated the economy and parking ability. And it handles like a race car. A definite deviation from the minivans or my BMW.
