Bonus - And if you go to Boise to pick it up, make sure to hit east and upper black creeks road on your way out. A very nice, dry, twisty, moundy, fast, rural road.

What you say about Black's creek is true! However, an even better test for the Mini is to be found on Bogus Basin road, which leaves Boise's north end and climbs 3200 feet, over a distance of 16 miles, to the local ski area. There isn't a straight stretch on it, and very little traffic in the summer. My house is just 1/2 mile from the bottom. Perfect venue for a test drive, no?

Wow Bogus Basin Rd looks awesome (Google earthed it). I have a friend from Kuna and had been to BB 15 yrs ago skiing. Not quite the pit stop off of 84 but looks definitely worth it. I'll hit it next time I'm out that way.
