This is a bit unrelated, but I just wanted to mention it. If you are very happy with your 2006 or older MINI, then do not go drive the new 2007 MINI. You will only torture yourself or become less satisifed with yours. Just a word of caution.

 

I lol'ed at the 07 on my test drive.

 

Why would I not like my current R53? I wanted a R53 so I don't think I would be unhappy with my decision.

 

r53 > r56

don't have that much interest in the r56, let alone the desire of owning one. it's grown on me and i don't think it's as ugly and diluted as i once did, but an upgrade for me would be an '05-'06 jcw

 

Ive driven one and still think its ugly. I didn't know what everyone was so happy with I was very unimpressed.

 

I actually went to order mine when I spotted a brand new R53 on the lot last week...the R53 got me!
