I am quite reluctant to post this ad as this is a fantastic car I have only had for a short time. I was planning on keeping it for many years. However, life seems to have other plans right now thanks to helping out a family member, a house that won't sell and making a big move to a different state in a short period of time.

For sale is one MINI Cooper S in Dark Silver with white roof. The interior is black on blue leather. A factory aero kit is installed, and the wheels are r90s. Options on the car are:

• sunroof
• xenon lights
• DSC
• fog lights
• OEM rally lights
• on-board computer
• multi-function steering wheel
• auto climate control
• white bonnet stripes

There are no aftermarket modifications except an Alta foam air filter and an adjustable phone/ipod holder on the center column which comes in quite handy. A MINI car cover is also included as well as a 12v air compressor/flat repair kit.

The only maintenance I've had to do on the car is change the oil/filter, air filter, cabin air filter and have the A/C charged. The car is in fantastic mechanical shape. Transmission shifts smoothly, and the engine runs very strong. Cosmetically there is normal wear and tear for a car of this age. Any "damage" I list here is minor, most of which I didn't see until very close to the car to clean and detail it. I am only listing it for the sake of clarity and honesty. The front air dam/hood area has a few very small chips from rocks. There are also a few minor scratches around the car. The driver's seat has a very small scrape on the surface of the leather. Otherwise the seats are in excellent shape with no stains, noticeable wear, or other scuffs. I have partial maintenance records of the most recent maintenance done at Crevier Mini in Santa Ana, CA. The car was originally purchased at Prestige Mini. It is still currently registered in California, but located in the Boise, ID area.

This MCS is in fantastic shape and was by far the nicest example of the 2002s available in my area at the time of purchase. I recently drove it from So. California to Boise, ID when I moved, as well as a weekend trip from Boise to Portland, OR the following week. It averaged 33mpg for the whole trip (roughly 2000mi) with the hatch full of cargo on the drive to Boise and 4 people in the car on the Portland trip.

I am asking $16,000 OBO for the car. I am willing to negotiate within reason, but NAM asking price is already lower than anywhere else. I am also willing to help arrange shipping for out of state buyers.
