* MINI5280 * Snow * Day *
MINI5280 has declared March 8th as a MINI Snow Day
As children, we learned early on that Snow Days were very special days. They were days to appreciate the freedom brought by a one day reprieve from more serious pursuits. They were days to have fun, as if you were drinking it from a fire-hose. Snow days meant going sledding, making snow forts, having snowball fights, enjoying hot chocolate with marshmallows, watching cartoons on a Tuesday morning, and making snow angels.
For most of us, MINI Snow Day is a chance to relive those young and eager times. For those of you who lived sad deprived childhoods (maybe you grew-up someplace warm like L.A.), here is your chance to see what you were missing.
The Details
Two options are being considered. One will be selected based on the input of those who plan to attend.
Option 1: Breckenridge on March 8, with the use of a club house provided by Tom Braum, but with us providing food and being responsible for clean up.
Option 2: Keystone on March 8, with keystone providing complimentary meeting space and food/drink service with members being on their own to pay for their expenses.
The main activity for the day will be snowboarding or skiing, but other options exist for those who wish to attend but not ski or snowboard.
