Pristine Powder Coating
I have mine done at Pristine. Lee is a good guy. He charges $45 per wheel and I am very happy with his work. His number is 720-488-5499... his shop is located around Hampden and Santa Fe drive.
I had my wheels coated before heading to AMVIV this year and had some chips on my wheels after coming back from Vegas. He even offered to re-coat them for me for free, and paying for half of the mounting costs.

because if thats what you were asking about then i can see why others wouldnt return calls, as powder coating can only be done to metal surfaces...

Well they have developed some lower temp powder coatings - 250 deg instead of 400 so I thought it might be worth a try since I had some extra bits. They turned out good as far as the coating but they warped a little.
Powder coating can be actually be done on any surface that will tolerate the heat of curing - you don't have to have a static charge any longer.

Need right rear caliper R53 ASAP!
Note to self: Don't change fluids the night before you're supposed to leave for a race!
I was getting ready for the SCCA Solo Nationals in Vail Valley this weekend and decided to bleed the brakes. Whoever owned my 04 MCS before I did tightened the screw down WAAAYYYY too much on the right rear caliper; it stripped out the hole in the caliper! Now I am down a caliper, tomorrow is the day before the Western Regional Championship, and I don't want to not race this car!
Does anyone either (a) have a right rear OEM caliper they could sell/rent to me for the weekend and be able to put this thing in my hands tomorrow no later than NOON; or (b) can recommend a local place that will have these in stock? I have a list going, but don't know all the shops on the Front Range that carry OEM Mini parts.
Any help would be appreciated and if you have a spare caliper, call or text me at 720-308-9374 any time (and I mean ANY time) before tomorrow (Friday) afternoon. Thanks!

FS/FT: Two sets of 17x7 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 wheels
Posted these under the Marketplace as well but figured the locals oughta see it here....
It's time to move our two sets of black Team Dynamics Pro Racing 1.2 wheels. These came with our used 04 MCS when we bought it, and we want a set of smaller street driving wheels/tires and we already have a set of Hart forged wheels for racing the rest of the season.
Both sets of wheels are black, 4x100 only, 17x7. Used mostly for racing, some driving to/from events and some on the street by the previous owner. A couple flaws here and there from rocks etc but no significant curb rash, no flaws along the rims, etc. All wheels are straight and true.
One set has Toyo RA-1s. These wheels were used on autocross courses and on the track. They're in great shape. Those tires are pretty much done. If you wanted to try them for one race you probably could but one tire is starting to show a little bit of cord. They're about 3 years old and heat cycled out the yin yang. Due to the fact the tires are almost useless, looking for just $500 for this set.
The other set has Falken Azenis which ARE in good condition. The wheels are also in great shape. The Falkens have about 60% tread remaining so they are still good for a while. Good for racing the rest of the season, or just everyday driving before the winter. Asking $700 for this set.
I am willing to trade one of these sets: I need a set of 15" or 16" wheels with some decent all season performance tires (>70% tread remaining). The wheels have to clear the Wilwood race brakes on the front, so let me know what you have and we can get measurements or set up a time to test the fitting.

Custom Alta tune, 17% underdrive (so 15% SC and 2% Crank, or 17% SC etc) CAI, catback, high altitude adjustment, 91 octane. I am going with a RMW tuen (pending it produces more power). Hi all, I have a set of four (4) Summer Racing Tires - CONTINENTAL 225 35 ZR17 performance tires for sale. These are relatively new and have tons of threads left. However, one is DAMAGED (on the sidewall when taken off from the rim, not sure if it is repairable), the other three are IN PERFECT CONDITION. Two of the good tires are mounted on MINI COOPER S-LITE wheels. The wheels are in good condition with curb rashes.

S Lites with Kuhmo Tires SPT $300
I have a set of 4 S Lites that I am looking for someone to take off my hands. They are just taking up space in the garage. All rims in good condition and also have tires that are in great condition. 3 are kuhmo's and 1 is a run flat. Looking for $300 for everything but make me a offer I can't refuse.
