Grant, Check this out. Roto Slipstreams, 4x100 bolt pattern, 56.1mm center hub, 45mm offset, 16x7, 14 lbs. In Stock. Four wheels shipped free---$500. What you think of that. To me a perfect AutoX wheel. Felix

Felix, those sound like a good value for money buy. Not as light as SSR's (which are about 11 or 12 lbs), but so much cheaper.

Being 16 x 7 they are not legal for SCCA GS, but would be for STX (not 100% sure). They are perfect for BMW events where wheel size is not an issue. Rota makes some good wheels, I have a set I use as winter wheels on my wife's WRX STi.

Look me up at the BMw events (not July 23rd - I will be at Time Trials at Second Creek) i drive the higly decal'd yellow Mini.

SCCA National Tour This weekend!

Come one, come all! Show support for your fellow MINI drivers. There are 8 MINI's listed in GS and 1 in SML ( That's me!). So there are a bunch of MINI's to come out and see. GS will be running 1st heat so they plan to start about 8am. SML is heat 3 so I'd say about 11ish.

See ya out there!

Please note date change - RMCBMWCCA AutoX

Originally scheduled for August 20th at Mt. Elbert Lot (DIA) this event has now MOVED to August 27th, Coors Field, Lot B.

Thanks to MINI5280 member Pat Stekr (LY with Orciari kit) for this important update. The change is reflected in the MINI5280 Calendar right here in NAM.

Hey no prob! The 14th is a National Test N Tune ( not a formal event). So the Test N Tune of the 21st has been cancelled since they put it on the 14th.

BTW I got 1st place at the Recent National tour in SML. It helped that no one else was in my class.

We Need MINIs At the Races

Okay everyone. The date has been set, August 27 Coors Field, Parking Lot B. Now there are no excuses because "it's too far to drive all the way out to DIA". We need to show the BMW contingent that "those damn little cars" are a good group of folks. A few of us racers would love to have a "whole slew" of those MINIs parked all around rooting us on as we tear hundreds of miles of rubber off our tires in one sitting. It's great fun just watching everyone doing their best and having a great time of it. Hope to see you out at the course. Come over and say "hi". I'll be in the Hype Blue MCS #77cs

humm good question

Don't really know actually. I've been in this specialized position for 3 years now. I do just about everything but build the homes ( work for a home builder but in the training department which they are shutting down ). So got tons of skills with no real knowing of what to do with them. Really I can do everything from billing to planning and organizing huge functions.

Anyone need a Jill of all trades? LOL Will drive to Denver... I have a great ride.

Jonathon

Great pictures man..

My folks really enjoyed chatting with you on Saturday. Thanks for coming out to the BMW event, next time we expect you to be joining us in competing.

Congratulations to all the Mini drivers who took part. It is encouraging to see the tremendous improvements some drivers have made this year. Nothing like seat time to keep getting better.

I Spy

Looked fun!

I think I saw Dan W.'s little Indi blue 04 there in a pic. I also noticed Arnie Coleman's car in the first pic by his Hot Wheels sticker on his Z. Too cool.
