Throttle response

Took an MCS for test drive at local Denver dealer. Throttle response from idle was very poor. "Blipping" throttle had no effect. Salesman said this was normal. Is it? Thanks Ross05

Thanks for asking

You may wish to check the 'under the bonnet' forum here in NAM. There are discussion threads there on this and other issues. I have not had this problem. The MINI does have a bit of a slow response, but a little more gas does it for me.

But the answers may be closer than you think. You may wish to call Anthony Fig at Schomp - he who knows everything there is to know - and I am sure he will take a moment and give you his opinion and some thought on the issue.

Also contact Randy Webb at Webb Motorsports - Randy@webbmotorsports.com also an advertiser here in NAM. He too will give you the facts of the situation and what if anything to really expect.

Please stay in touch - would love to have you as a MINI owner.

Sure, and BTW

Randy and Webb Motorsports are right here in Denver, too.
