Hi All!
Hi All!
Hey everyone,
I'm sure a lot of you remember me, but from the lurking that I've been doing it looks like there are a lot of new faces around here.
For those of you who don't know (or remember) I'm Joe Konrad and was the president of the club for about a year (2010ish) until I deployed to Kuwait for a year and then mysteriously disappeared.
Long story short; the MINI is gone, but I really miss the friendships that I made with the members of this club and wanted to start getting reacquainted with everyone.
I hope everyone has been well and I look forward to talking with you all again.
Joe

Hey Joe!
Rick G and I were out the other day, started talking about the AMVIV drive 2010 returning through UT, when we all (about 10 cars) came up on the state trooper
.. we all dropped it to 65
and he tailed you and Rick for a bit. The rest of us all pulled over the next rest stop started pooling $$$ together for, what we thought, was going to be a BIG ticket.. waiting, waiting..
Then it turned out, if memory serves, you guys got a warning for aftermarket tail lights or something??
Anyway, we all motored on, hit the gas and ended back in Denver in record time..
I still have the photos from the Hoover Dam, great trip!
Hope you guys are well, welcome back
Chris

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone!
Hey Chris!
Yeah, the problem was the tail lights were factory, I started to argue with him and then realized that I'd be better off keeping my mouth shut.
We definitely made it back in record time. If memory serves, we would have made it there quickly too if some of the guys from Detroit weren't rolling on high performance summer tires a few hours after a major snowstorm. They couldn't even make it up the initial ascent into the foothills.
