Open Campaign - Coolant Temp Sensor (09/06/2012)
My car (See below) was having porgram issues and the dealer needed to reset it. When I dropped my car off I was told there was an open campaign for the Coolant Temp Sensor (SIM 17 09 12 DUE) and asked if I wanted them to do that also. I said yes. I do not think they are notifying owners about this. I have not received a notice to date.
So I just wanted everyone to know about this Open Campaign. Because when I talked to SA after everything was done he said the sensor thing could have resulted in a breakdown
. Which sounds serious to me.
Not sure what years this effects. Mine is a 2012.

Good posting, interesting the MC are involved with the sensor problem, too.
MC owners should probably call their favored dealer for warranty repair or at least see if their MINI is involved.
