Little Black Pellets
The only thing I can think of is the Catalytic Converter. I have never seen the inside of one but I have heard of people taking a long screw driver and trying to get the stuff out of one. That is my guess. Keep us posted on what you find.

It might help if you could tell us what year of car you have.
1st Gen, 2nd Gen......auto or manual.
And what on your car was hit?
Got a picture of these things that are falling out of your car?
Or maybe a picture of the underside of your car?

From an older post of his...looks like he has a 2007 MCS. Off hand I have seen charcoal pellets that look like that, but wondering maybe they are from what ever he struck and just got lodged up there ?

sorry guys under my mcs there is a plastic shield on the passenger side of the gas tank that holds charcoal pellets that are used to prevent fumes from fuel from being smelled in the car I ran a piece of metal over and it broke that plastic piece and now all of the charcoal pellets are out and all I can smell in my car is fuel.
Wrong Gen, he has an '07, according to his posts.

Ouchie!!
Warranty = no...
typically for anything that is collision damage. BUT, do you have comprehensive w/ a low deductible--the type of coverage for windshields plus other road debris and issues that doesn't involve cars running into each other? On mine for example it's a $100 deductible ($500 for regular collisions). I recently used this coverage when a piece of wood came flying out of nowhere and took out the fog light and surrounding bumper trim.
Bumper to bumper typically means any manufacturer defect from front bumper to rear bumper is covered. Not collision damage. If you hit something and it breaks, warranty will typically not cover it.
