Official Grand Opening of MINI of Loveland
Thursday May 27th, 6PM - 10PM

MOL is a major sponsor of MITM and as such we need to show support for their opening. Please try to attend and if you live north of Denver you got no excuses!

 

There is a concert that same night at the radio station's ampitheater next to the Hooters across Crossroads Blvd from MoL. If there is still construction going on, you can imagine what a mess from all the traffic there will be.
An alternate exit to take (coming from the "south") would be the 2nd Loveland exit #257A going west and then north on Rocky Mountain Ave through the roundabouts. You will turn on Test Drive and come in that way. Below is the Link to the Google maps alternate route.

P.S. you get 6 round-a-bouts to show how good your MINIs suspension is and how he likes those curves!

 

Is anyone planning on meeting up and driving up together, like we did for the soft opening?

Someone needs to explain the concept of Grand Opening to MOL. First it was the soft opening, now its the Saturday opening and soon it will be the Official Grand Opening.
Just open already and be done with it.

 

So grand opening on the 25 th? Ok. Who wants to meet up and drive up there? I am up near flatirons mall in Brookfield.

JAS76, not the 25th. Thursday the 27th. Last time a bunch of MINI's met at STARBUCKS on 120th and I-25. But now with Saturday the 15th I don't know whats going to happen.

 

Okay, so now it's the 15th and the 27th. Anyone going up on the 15th to see the hockey playing cheerleaders, besides Chuck

For the May 27th Grand Opening:

Special parking reserved for MINI owners. There will be signs directing MINI owners to the North side of the MINI of Loveland building.

...and don't forget the extra traffic from the concert across the street. See BLU BY U's thread above for an alternate route.

 

I'll be leaving the Arvada/Westminster area at 3:45p with MiniDaMoocher and heading up to Loveland to connect with DanandTan at their place, then heading to MOL.

If anyone is interested in heading up that early, let me know, we can caravan, etc.

 

I will be ready to go around 4:30-5pm from the Parker area. I would love to meet up with anyone else heading up I-25 around then.

Mark, I was thinking I would leave the Park and Ride at I25 and Yosemite at about 4:30, and go to the Starbucks at I25 and 120th (arriving around 5:15 due to traffic) to meet up with anyone else interested in a caravan. We could leave Starbucks at 5:30, which would put us at MoL pretty close to 6 PM. Anyone else leaving from the south part of town is certainly encouraged to meet up, as is anyone from the north end.

The times are not cast in stone, so we can adjust a little to make it work better for those of us that actually have to work. Whaddaya think?

 

Not sure I will make it to the Park and Ride by 4:30, but if I don't see anyone I will try to make up some time and catch up at the Starbucks location.
