They probably wont be regestering but you can +2 from Colorado. My parents will be bringing my car up in my place. Hopefully they remember to take all my new parts out of the back, I wouldnt want them to be mistaken for a vendor.

Parents look great in MITM T-Shirts! What a thoughtful gift or a super way to say thanks.

Just did so ourselves. Can't get there until Friday night though.... Working for a living is getting old.

Still plenty of action all day on Friday up in Winter Park.
Car show until 11:00 AM, MTTS BBQ, Group Photo, Get2Gether Cocktails and outdoor movie. Plus rides and vendors.

My main goal is MITM and MTTS, secondary. So I'm doing the MTTS at WP and then the day at Denver...maybe. Motoring in the high country, to me is way better than traffic in the nation's 5th largest city.

Lodging Recommendations for MITM

Looking over the descriptions of the lodging options I can't help but wonder if there is a discussion somewhere of the real world attributes of each. I'm looking for something decent for 2 adults, neither dormitory like nor a luxury hotel. Around $100 a night (or less) would be great.

Thx.

Alan

Hopefully Chuck will chime in here on this topic because he knows more about the rooms than me.

You should check out the Winter Park Mountain Lodge. From what it looks like it should provide a Holiday Inn style room for less than $100 a night.

Check out the photo tour here:

My first time to MITM I slept in my car.

Wow I wont do that again, If MITM stays in WP for a few years I know some good camping spots, and they are FREE.

Alan - as the other have said, the Winter Park Mountain Lodge is more hotel like while the others tend to be more condo like. That said the Vintage Lodge also offers a hotel style room. They are each nice but I think for the money and proximity to activities I would choose the Vintage if I was looking for a hotel type room. The Winter Park Lodge requires driving to the resort, it is only about 2 miles to the vendor area but you have to cross Highway 40. No biggie but I would still choose the Vintage.

Since I can't get off until late Friday, I will be heading to MTTS events in Denver and staying there for the weekend.
