Suzuki SX4 vs MINI Cooper

Has anyone seen this thread? Suzuki is claiming that the SX4 is "Mightier than the MINI." Also that it's half the price. I say it's half the price, half the car.

Yeah you know the only car manufacturer I respect more the BMW is of course Suzuki.
Perhaps they meant "Mighty (crappier) then the MINI".

It's as though they're just begging me to tell them exactly where they can stick that cute little cape.

Yea I have seen this as well... in order to get some of the featues that a standard mini gets you end up at roughly the same price. Assuming I have read it correctly. Pretty dumb commercial, the Mini is a sports car, and the Suzuki is a SUV/Crossover.

More like Captain Underpants VS Captain America

I remember back in the 70's when Ford came out with their marketing of the Ford Granada was being "mistaken" for a Mercedes. No one but Ford made that mistake! And Hyundia comapring to the BMW. It just goes to show Mini's the Top dog that the wantabe's want to be like.

It's a COMPLIMENT

Recognize the commercial as a compliment to the Mini. The commercial simply means that Suzuki WANTS what the Mini HAS. The very fact that the commercial is being heavily discussed in Mini circles means the commercial is a success.
