My brother just informed me that Chinese is selling a MINI Cooper Clone in China. I am wondering if Don (OLD81) has seen it while he was over there a couple months ago.

I think it's named the Mini Crapper. It probably folds like a wet kleenex box under impact and runs like a 1940's outboard motor.

 

No, I did not catch sight of this when I was in China in May/June. It would have been interesting.

Very similar body lines, although MINI/BMW does not offer a 5 door like this one, just the fine Clubman.

I will have my family in Beijing keep an eye out and possibly catch a picture of a real one on the streets.
