You mentioning about the liquer store made me remember that Nutt's in BYO!!!! Not in any way do I condone drinking and driving...but I know my co-pilot will need a beer or three to calm his nerves!!

Yippie!!! So glad this is coming together. I've mentioned to members of my group (NEMINI) who aren't making MTTS that we are coming through the area and they are way interested in joining us for lunch and a little motoring!!!

 

Yeah, if you guys are doing lunch at Nutt's we'll defniitely head over that way to join you for lunch at the very least. Only a half hour from my house so I've got no excuse NOT to be there.

 

I'm not going all the way down to D.C. but I could meet a group on 95 at the rest area just past the tolls outside of Newark,De. We could take Rt. 82 to 162 to 282 and come out at the Downingtown exit of the Pa turnpike. Cooper Girl could take over there and get us to the next leg. The good news is this leg would be full of twisties, the bad news is it would take about 1 1/2 hours. Let me know if there is any interest.

Ok, the plans are official! A group of MINI owners will be meeting at the designated MINI "headquarters" hotel in Washington DC at 7:30am for a departure time of 8. Our route will take us up 95 past Baltimore and then up US 1 to Philadelphia where we will connect back into 95 through Philly to Bucks County, PA. From there we will take a fun drive through some fun back roads and then take I-78 into Jersey City. This will be a fun alternate route and if you are interested in participating let me know so that I can keep you informed of our plans. We plan on arriving in Jersey City at about 3 pm.
