I'm going all the way

 

So...you're doing MITM this weekend, then out to Monterey, then driving all the way to Maine, then home? Sounds like a fun few weeks. Wish I could get that much time off at once.

 

We are signed up for the St. Louis to Indy leg too! Haven't decided if we are going to drive down the night before or the very early morning of.

 

Agro - I'm not doing MITM. Just offering a little donation to them.

For anyone who is interested, I'm going from Vegas to Flagstaff via "The 12 miles of terror", Prescott, Jerome and Sedona. Makes it about a 6 1/2 hour drive instead of 4 hours, but MUCH more fun. I printed 50 copies of the Streets and Trips map and directions, so if anyone wants a copy, come and get one on Tuesday night or before leaving on Wednesday morning.

 

I'm doing the Charlottesville, VA to Washington, DC run.

I'll be at the House of Blues, like the rest of the MTTS wristband wearers, after that, I don't know. It depends where the partiers wind up. But you know what I look like, and you KNOW I'm easy to spot.

Could you list the route or mark it on Google map. I'd love to drive it on the way back to San Diego from Flagstaff. I really want to do Route 66 just for the history of it.

 

I think I see the hwy thru Jerome; and it looks nice. Someone mention that the Bagdad hwy coming out of Vegas was also fun. I'm just looking for a twisty roads.

I will be heading down to DC to drive back to Jersey City and on to Connecticut. Undecided about which route for the DC to NJ run - I am tempted by the longer run through Gettysburg but I want to run with the MOST MINIs which will probably be doing I-95.

I am soooo excited about this...

Where are people gathering in DC for the night before the final leg ??

I had some time to kill tonight and considering we probably won't get our new plates in time I thought I'd improvise. Print it out at work on the nice 6color plotter, laminate it, and voila!

Nice idea - though I think you should bold up the route a bit more so it shows clearly

 

I'll be joining Flagstaff to Albuquerque in Holbrook, AZ (taking a great twisty from Phoenix through Payson and up) and then on to Albuquerque.

I am driving from Boca Raton Florida to join the caravan at MEMPHIS and going all the way 'til the end..

 

Ords and heading down from Chicago to Nashville then doing the Nashville-St. Louis-Indy Run.

 

Some of us are driving over into Arkansas to meet up with the caravan and head into Memphis, then doing Memphis to Nashville.

 

We just checked the entertainment listings... there is nothing planned for Memphis?

 

I'll be motoring my JCW MC from either Memphis or Nashville to DC (or maybe Jersey City) with several other Sunshine MINIs.

 

Day2 of MTTS and I am glad to report we are having so much fun...
The media crew MINIUSA hired to record the event is super cool... look for them in Voyager minivans with cameras and video hanging out... good folks...

we took some pics with them with three other Minis late afternoon ON Pismo Beach on Monday... On Tuesday we've run into them at the Desperado Roller Coaster in Primm NV... You guys out in the middle must be getting pretty excited. The caravan is on its way to you!!
