I updated the listing with another picture, basically it shares the mounting points of the rear seatbelt support

 

Looks like it requires cutting of that C pillar trim. Is that correct?

 

I've seen these kits...look hot and functional !

There are two powder coated "ear pieces" for either end of that brace shaped like a triangle not in photo I guess....In the tirangle piece there are three holes, two holes for bracket and one for the upper seat belt strap guide....one end using the upper seat belt guide bolt to secure....easy.

Requires two small "slits" to be made into the C-pillar covers for those brackets....

However.....you can get as set of "used" C-pillar trims ( its small like a 8 inch long piece ) in eBay for like $30 dollars a side....or even here in NAM Marketplace where someone is parting out a MINI...interiors are all gray...so easy to find....Were me, I'd get a used pair of C pillar trims, scuff them up, make the slits with dremmel, paint them red just like the bar...Keeping the original C pillar pieces pristing in storage....if needed to bring back to stock.
