BKE Getrag 6speed

04 R50 Midlands trans went out.. going for the 6 speed Getrag swap.
was quoted 1200 for trans alone from MiniWorld in Sun Valley. Is that a good price?
will be sourcing parts slowly so why not start with the transmission.

I'm in an 02-04 R50 with a tranny that's starting to act funny.

Can you guys point me in the direction of these swapps and other info?

Can we just take a used 60k mile 6speed from an s and put it on our engine?
