As long as the original antenna cable that was used to plug into the OEM head unit isn't cut than no. Most people with aftermarket decks buy an adapter to connect the antenna cable to the new deck. The previous owner of my car or his installer cut that cable thinking they could just butt connect it to the aftermarket deck. That antenna cable is independent from the main radio harness so it's easily identifiable if you know what you're looking at.
