Bought this OEM insulator two weeks ago, It doesn't fit well with my k&n CAI. Paid $109 for insulator + $8 for 10 of the plastic screw/rivets (part number 51481915964)

Couple of quick questions please: ....is this insulator for pre 3/2012 cars or cars made after 3/2012? Also, will this fit with the factory JCW tower brace? Thx!
