I had my 2013 S modified with the Mini JCW Engine Tuning Kit and the difference is amazing! The car has 22K miles and the last time I had the oil changed at the Mini Dealer I noticed that the oil looked almost as dirty after 200 miles of driving as it had looked after 3000 miles (when I had changed it last). Is this normal for the oil to change coloration so rapidly especially on a car wth relatively low mileage????

I'm going to take the car for another oil change at a local foreign car shop and am thinking of using Royal Purple or Mobil One Extended Life Oil with a factory BMW filter.

How does this sound??
