No, so on the N14 there is a 'noisemaker' on the air charge pipe before the intake manifold. This is to replace that. The N18 came without the noisemaker as far as I know but people still buy these for "improved flow" over the oem piping. Intercooler resonator ("turbo muffler) is pre-intercooler, noisemaker is post-intercooler. Either way I sold this one, unfortunately I can't delete posts.
