I sold my R50 and am cleaning out some leftovers. (Still have an R52S) This is the interior shade set for the Gen 1 sunroof panels. It really cuts down the heat and UV. Yes the roof can still be opened with the shade attached. For more info google "zippeeshade". Please make sure it will fit your model before purchasing. This model is for Gen1 R50 and R53.
