Let the market tell him how much these go for.. Make an offer or stay out of it. I sold these wheels for $800 4 years ago with tires that were bald.

I wouldn't have paid that much. They were takeoffs from a Mini I purchased, and I listed them in Chicago's Craigslist for $800. They sold in 2 days and I had several people asking about them. They're not my favorite, but they are JCW wheels that clear full sized Brembo big brake kits without a spacer, and fairly light weight. Thats the only reason I have them on my Mini now (also came with another Mini I purchased later).


You're right, finding a clean set is even harder now that there are fewer of them out there. $450 is a solid price for any clean OEM set of 17" or 18" wheels.

No one likes a heckler in FS threads. You can show the buyer that its overpriced by not buying it. If you really cant hold it in, send him a PM. Whats the point? Are you a buyer? If so, make an offer. If not, then keep your opinions to yourself. Leave the price between real buyers and the seller.
