Looking for a used low mileage exhaust manifold for my 06' r53 as I have the dreaded p2096 error code and have ruled out all the other options which leads me to have to break down to swap out the exhaust manifold.

If you can't hear or feel an exhaust leak I would look into replacing the MAF sensors. There are 2. 1 pre charger (at the bypass valve) and 1 post charger (on the intake manifold). I replaced both of mine during my last service and it cleared up a lot of issues. I remember reading up on these and this code can be associated with these failing. A calculation by the ECU that makes the O2 sensors look like they are reading lean exhaust output. ECS sells them. i would try these before replacing the big parts...

 

Thanks for the input, but after taking the exhaust manifold out there is a crack in one of the welds.
