Yes, on my GP2.
The reason i got the Akrapovic, is because of the tone / note it gives compare to other system. It is DIFFERENT and unique, where others are not able duplicate.

I currently have an Akrapovic system with an Evolve decatted downpipe on my 2012 JCW. It sounds amazing, if you are considering picking up the system, you will not be disappointed.

Looks nice, retail is costly. Questions
Can you tell me the pipe size? stock, 2.25" 2.5" 3" ? OD, ID?
Did you notice a change other then sound (Power)?
Was it tuned with the exhaust on?

Power i did notice it picks up a tad faster, i did not have it tuned.
Sound is obviously different... that was the reason i even bought it.
if ur interested i can take measurement of piping.
