Bytetronik: Trying to "spool up" my understanding of the various plug 'n play mods. Looking at JB4, NM Power Module, and Dinan Sport Performance Tuner. All get basically positive reviews.

Can you put in your thinking regarding best as a stand-alone mod?

ALSO, regarding the single sensor mods that only tweak the TMAP signal. I understand they "trick" the ECU into thinking the turbo is supplying less boost than it actually is. So, in response to this, what, exactly does the ECU do? Meaning, does it just impact the wastegate valving or does it also send more fuel? If it doesn't send more fuel, then that would cause the higher boost air to run the engine leaner. Just really trying to understand what these boxes are doing to the engine and what the ECU is doing to respond to the signal. Thanks for any insight.
