Spec D Black Projector Head lights - SOLD!

Category: Lights
Price: $150
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R56
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

SOLD!

Hi all,

I've parted ways with my R56 (2011) Cooper S, and so I have the Spec-D projector headlights for sale. See the attached picture for how they look on my chili red R56. They are the same ones I'm reviewing in this video:

I'm asking $150 plus shipping. I'm in Maryland, near DC (20871). If you're local, I can help you install them if you'd like. The harness has been modified to support the HID kit I was using, but I will put it back to the way it was wired when I received them. There will be regular halogen bulbs installed in the housing. I removed the HID kit and used it on my new car.

I can supply pictures and answer questions as desired.

Adjusted asking price. Taking offers. These lights are just now collecting dust.

Is it possible/difficult to retrofit them for Xenon headlights? I know I'd have to have the dealership program and whatnot.

Yes, it's very possible! I had a HID kit in these in that video. But in theory you could put whatever you wanted in there, provided the bulb is H11. As far as programming, that's beyond me since I never did that. I dealt with the bulb-out warnings.

I believe these would work for you. However, you say "without halogen". Does that mean you currently have the factory Bi-Xenons? Or do you mean with halogen?

Also, someone else mentioned to me that my shortcut of tricking the computer to allow me to use the high beams may not work on older R56's. It worked on my 2011, but the person I was talking with has a 2008 and he wasn't able to get any kind of Hi-beam functionality at all.
