Hi everyone, I recently installed wilwood brake kit on my 2011 Mini Cooper S. I had them on for about 2 months now and I recently got a brake light signal on my dash board. I do have sensor line for my factory brake pads but wilwood doesn't have brake pads that will work with the factory sensors lines. I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem or will know how to fix the problem. Please email with any info you could share. Thank you for reading this and for any info you can give.

Thanks Jose

You can cut the end of the sensor off where it meets the brake pad and wire it together. It will take numerous times driving the MINI but eventually it will turn off the light.

I installed these on my friends S, and I noticed the brake sensors didn't fit the brake pads. All we did is plugged the sensors in and then zip tied the sensors up and out of sight. Every few months just keep an eye on pads to make sure there enough meat. It's really no big deal.

All correct, removal and zip tie was the norm. Seems I recall you had to be sure the sensor was not grounding out against the strut tho or it would trigger the light. Been a while..
