I need part of the shift linkage off the transmission - the aluminum bracket that pins to the selector shaft on the trans. I know the trans is spoken for. Can you tell me who is buying it? Maybe they can get me this part off of a transmission they are replacing.
MINI is dead until I find this somewhere, so any help would be appreciated.

Great. I just noticed some cars have a steel bracket here instead of an aluminum one. Seeing as how the aluminum one I have broke in two and left me stranded, I'd like to find a steel one. At this point I'll take the first one I can get , though!
