Here is a set of driving lights that I custom made that mount to the grill securely using a system of plates that sandwich the factory grill. I ran them on the standard simple switch circuit so they could be on at any time, but could also be tied into the stock high beam circuit to come on only when the high beams are on. These are a set of HELLA Black Magic driving lights, that are tinted black so they blend into the grill, with black housings, and I painted the mounts black as well. But when they are turned on, it's a completely different game. They are larger than the factory MINI driving lights and fill the grill nicely, they are truly black, and don't require the expensive brackets, special dash piece and switch, and can be mounted anywhere on the grill, close together or far apart, top grill/bottom grill.
