yep, that sounds like me...looking for spares for my '05 S. Is there a difference between the 05 wheel and the 06? Thanks.

 

The only difference I can see is in the leather seams. The 05 has a seam at the bottom center on the front (3 pieces of leather) where the 06 has only the 2 side seams (2 pieces)
and on the back/wrap the 05 has a top seam where the 06 has a bottom... no idea why they changed it, other than that they are identical.
