Up for grabs is a Black M7 Strut Tower Brace for an R53* in excellent condition (can't really destroy these things). New, this guy is well over $200- I'm asking $150 or "reasonable offer" + shipping from 94309 (local pickup/delivery preferred). Reasonable offers include trades for R56 aftermarket item(s) in similar condition. PMs receive priority.
*Note: The M7 Strut Tower Brace requires the M7 Strut Tower Plates. Here's an excellent pic of both the plates and brace, which I have borrowed from online because I no longer have an R53 to demonstrate:
Just to clarify- I do NOT have the plates, but you need the plates to attach the brace.

Thanks for your consideration!

just want to clarify from experience of owning both the entire strut bar assembly with plates and just buying the plates separately from m7, they do differ from one another unless they've changed their design within the past year. just buying the strut tower defenders does not mean they'll work with the strut bar as they do NOT have the threaded holes that the strut bar needs to be installed. im really not trying to steer anybody away from this, because i love how my m7 strut bar looks, it's great quality! just clarifying to buyers that theyll probably need to contact m7 about getting compatible plates as they're not sold separately. again not trying to steer people away, just figured this information could help people get what they need if they bought this. Good luck with the sale!!!

@RadioActiveMan - hence "OBO".
@mcs_r53 - The plates went with the R53 when I sold it- I didn't have the tools to remove them at the time (but I know where you can find the guy).
@ROOSEY - Valid point. I assumed the plates had the holes pre-drilled for the brace. Based on your comment I double-checked the M7 site directly (http://www.m7tuning.com/parts/produc...products_id=29) which confirms that you need the appropriate plates to attach the brace. Thanks for the good luck wish- I'm gonna need it, apparently!
