I sold my 2010 JCW R55 for a new N18 R55 lease so I have no use for these anymore. Only things left are Accessport with latest software and MARS FMIC. I have never heard of "MARS" I see that outmotoring sells it and it looks like a FORGE/Helix. Did this bolt on without any modifications? How did it perform? Thanks!

 

My JCW did not have the JCW front bumper. I work with a guy who has the JCW body kit and a Helix. The Helix and MARS side by side are very very similar. The main difference is the way the end tanks are put together and the MARS has mounting tab provisions for using the factory mounting points to bolt it to the car. Because my front bumper tucks in at the bottom not being the newer JCW front end, I had to shave (and I mean shave) about four fins on each side of the grill at the bottom half basically where the beginning of the end tanks are. If you took the FMIC off, you wouldn't ever be able to see the shave it's that minimal (and on the back side of the bumper). I had Alta intake resonator delete hose and all the hoses and mounting fit just fine. Viewing the AccessPort on my car and my buddies car running side by side the intake air temps were virtually the same. +- a couple degrees. Hope this helps.
